In 1980 she married Brian Cupido in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. In 1998 the couple settled in Iuka, Mississippi after he got a management job in the area.

Donna hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

After being unable to contact her, Donna’s family reported her missing to the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Office that evening.

Investigation

No money has been withdrawn from Donna’s bank account since she went missing.

On October 23, 2004, Donna’s vehicle, a silver two-door 2001 Kia Sportage, was found abandoned behind the Apostolic Church on Highway 72 East in Iuka, about 5 miles away from the high school.

Authorities found no evidence of foul play inside the vehicle, stating it looked as if someone just pulled into the parking spot, got out, locked the car, and walked away. There was an unopened carton of cigarettes found inside the car, which indicated to her husband she didn’t leave voluntarily.

During the investigation, authorities discovered that Donna was possibly seen with a male at the Wooden Nickel Restaurant in Cherokee, Alabama a few days after she went missing. The restaurant is about 12 miles away from where her car was later found abandoned.

Two months after she disappeared, parts of her wallet were found in Bear Creek.

Donna was involved in an extramarital affair at the time of her disappearance. Both her husband and the male she was involved with took polygraph tests and passed.

Another male who was questioned by authorities failed his polygraph test. He has since hired a lawyer.

Donna’s family believes she met with foul play, as it’s uncharacteristic of her to leave without warning.
